Pricing and Funding
- Our pricing is currently set at £9 per hour for all ages.
- We accept all forms of government funding, as well as tax free childcare, student childcare grants, and workplace vouchers.
- Our funded hours are offered between 8:30am and 3:00pm, with additional hours around this paid for at our usual hourly rate. Children can use solely funded hours, we have no requirement for private hours to be taken up in order to access a space.
- You are welcome to use your child's' funding either stretched throughout the year at 22.8 hours per week over the 50 weeks we are open, or use it within the term time only, giving you 30 hours of funding to use over 38 weeks of the year.
- Whilst we agree that the government funding is a fantastic thing for families, it is delivered at very low rates to providers, meaning we often lose out with the funded spaces we provide.
Because of this we have implemented a £5 per funded day sustainability charge. The sustainability charge helps us to cover some of the gap between our hourly rate and the low funding rate we are paid by the government.
This charge is completely optional in line with Ofsted and DfE requirements, and will not affect your child's quality of care or sessions provided in any way, if you choose not to pay it.
The charge helps to cover the cost of all sorts of things, such as our weekly sing and sign sessions, different events and activities throughout the year such as Christmas parties and graduation etc, premium use of our online system Famly, extracurricular visits and outings, and our daily breakfast, morning and afternoon snack, and tea, which is all currently included in funded hours/hourly rate. A full breakdown of what is covered by this charge is included in our parent pack. This charge is shown separately and clearly on all invoices, and is easily identifiable in line with guidance.
- Our only additional cost is our optional hot lunch, provided by Jj and Little Dots, which is £3.00 per day - children are welcome to bring a lunchbox instead.
